First Aid & First Responder Staff
First Aiders and Responders comprise the largest portion of the Quad Medical team and are the absolute back bone of the event medicine industry.
Each member will have at minimum completed an accredited three day first aid at work course or level 3 First Response in Emergency Care course. In addition all Quad Medical staff including first aiders and first responders are DBS checked and undertake a complete mandatory training package including Safeguarding Adults & Children, mental capacity and National Early Warning Scores 2 etc.
With a diverse and ever expanding events industry we have at the request of our clients put together a team of dedicated welfare staff.
These include Drug and Alcohol workers, Social Workers, Mental health nurses, Mental health first aiders and welfare staff with nightclub and festival welfare experience to help support our multi disciplinary team with non medical matters.
Welfare Team
The use of Animal Assisted Therapy is not a new concept. Some hospitals have been using welfare dogs for over 40 years to promote wellbeing. Our loveable canine team are always on hand at large events to ensure that all aspects of patient, serivice user and staff well being is met.
